Vintage Rectangular Willow Shopping Basket.A sturdy vintage willow shopping basket with a deep rectangular body and substantial wrapped carrying handle. Traditionally woven with a strong framed base and closely worked sides the basket has a pleasing utilitarian shape and warm honey-coloured finish. A lovely practical piece of vintage basketware with plenty of character ideal for shopping or as a decorative country house basket.
Dimensions: 29cm x 41cm x 41cm inc x 27cm high side
Condition:Good vintage condition with age-related marks wear and variations in colour throughout. There are a number of broken and cut willow strands particularly to the underside together with some loose and protruding ends as photographed. The basket remains sturdy overall.

Free delivery is available on small items and selected smaller pieces of furniture. This covers UK mainland addresses only and excludes the Highlands and Islands. Delivery is typically made via an economy courier service. If you require a faster or upgraded delivery option, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
