We stock a variety of freestanding wooden livery cupboards or almoners cupboards, court cupboards, vintage sideboards, antique wooden cabinets in mahogany, walnut, oak, pine and painted or retro teak cupboards suitable for use as general storage or pantry cabinets. Our furniture spans  the 17th Century, 18th Century, 19th Century, Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian eras, early 20th Century and retro 1960s and 1970s.

Cupboards grew in popularity in the 17th Century when they took over the role of the storage chest as primary storage. With the rise in popularity, decoration and details became more important, and styles began to change. 18th Century cupboards saw carvings and the introduction of  cupboard upon a chest of drawers, the linen press,  for storing linens such as bedding and tablecloths.
