RETURNS & REFUNDS

We hope you’re really pleased with your purchase. However, if it’s not quite right, we offer an extended 30-day returns period on all online orders—longer than the standard 14-day statutory cancellation period.

In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery. Once you’ve let us know, you then have a further 14 days to return the item. Our extended 30-day policy simply gives you additional time for peace of mind.

We just ask that items are returned in the same condition as received and are packaged carefully to make sure they arrive back safely. Original packaging is ideal where possible, but most importantly the item must be well protected. As our pieces are often one-of-a-kind, we kindly ask that they’re handled with care while with you.

To arrange a return, simply email us at sales@kernowfurniture.co.uk. We aim to reply within 24 hours (usually much sooner) and will guide you through the process. For larger items, we’re happy to suggest suitable couriers or help arrange a reliable man and van service.

Please note that all returns must be agreed in advance.

Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a fully insured and trackable service, as the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us safely.

Once your item is back with us and checked over, we’ll process your refund within 14 days to your original payment method, including the standard delivery charge where applicable.

As we specialise in antique and vintage furniture, signs of age and wear are to be expected and are part of the character of each piece. We always aim to show and describe this clearly.

If your item arrives damaged or not as described, please let us know within 24 hours at sales@kernowfurniture.co.uk, and we’ll sort it quickly, including covering return costs where appropriate.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If you notice any damage please take photos for your records and contact us within 24 hours.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. As most of our items are unique it's unlikely we'll be able to offer an exact exchange but please get in touch so we can discuss the best options.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 24 hours of receipt of delivery. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
