Vintage Art Nouveau Style Brass Framed Bevelled Wall Mirror. Mid 20th Century rectangular wall mirror with bevelled glass and a slender brass-toned metal frame, embellished with flowing Art Nouveau style floral and foliate mounts at each corner. The decorative metalwork features curling stems, stylised leaves and delicate organic forms extending along the edges, giving the mirror a wonderfully romantic appearance. Its relatively narrow frame allows the bevelled glass to take centre stage, while the aged metalwork adds warmth and character. Designed to hang horizontally, this attractive decorative mirror would make a lovely addition to a bedroom, hallway or bathroom.
Dimensions: 66cm x 38.5cm
Condition:Good vintage condition overall, with noticeable areas of foxing, silvering loss and spotting to the mirror plate, particularly along the lower edge and towards the corners, as shown in the photographs. The metal frame and decorative mounts display tarnishing, discolouration and wear consistent with age.
