Stream Contemporary Textile Wall Hanging.An original contemporary textile wall hanging titled Stream, designed and made in Cornwall by textile artist Barbara Wilson. This evocative mixed-media textile combines machine quilted patchwork with hand applied antique lace fragments to create an abstract landscape suggestive of flowing water through a meadow. Soft tonal blocks of blues, greys, creams and earthy browns are enhanced by delicate antique lace motifs and subtle pearl embellishments, adding depth and texture to the composition. The reverse retains the artist's handwritten label detailing the title, materials and date. A beautifully crafted and highly decorative example of contemporary British textile art.

Condition:Good overall condition with only minimal signs of handling or previous display. Clean, well preserved and ready for hanging.

Free delivery is available on small items and selected smaller pieces of furniture. This covers UK mainland addresses only and excludes the Highlands and Islands.
