Single Stick Back Kitchen Chair.A single wooden chair of simple ecclesiastical form, likely originally made for use in a church or chapel setting. The shaped top rail sits above a spindle back centred by a pierced splat with cross detail, while the solid round seat is decorated with an embossed design. Raised on turned legs joined by stretcher supports, the chair has an honest, practical construction and an attractive aged patina. A characterful piece of occasional seating, well suited to a hallway, dining space or bedroom.

Condition:In good antique condition with age related wear, marks and patina throughout. There is some evidence of historic woodworm, as shown in the photographs. Please refer to the photographs for further detail.
