Set of Five Victorian Royal Worcester Hand Painted Botanical Plates.A set of five Royal Worcester plates, each hand painted with a different botanical study heather, thistle, fern and wildflower sprays within a pink and turquoise banded border with gilt rope-twist rim. Marked to the base with Royal Worcester's puce printed mark and pattern number, dating the set to circa 1870s1890s. Sold as a decorative set; please see condition notes.

Condition:Good decorative antique condition overall. Four of the five plates are free from significant damage but show age-related surface wear, marks and rubbing and losses to the gilded decoration, particularly around the rims. One plate is considerably more damaged, with several long hairline cracks running through the plate. There is general wear to the hand painted decoration throughout. Please refer to the photographs for details of condition.
