Pair of Late Victorian Green Upholstered Tub Chairs.A charming pair of late Victorian small tub chairs, featuring elegantly curved backs with deep buttoned upholstery in a lovely soft sage green dralon. The decorative wooden frames are painted in a warm ivory colour with delicate gilt detailing, scrolling arms and attractive shaped supports beneath the upholstered backs. The generously cushioned seats are upholstered in matching green dralon, with decorative braid trimming the edges, while the turned front legs are raised on castors. With their compact proportions, open frames and wonderfully decorative appearance, these pretty chairs would make a lovely addition to a sitting room, bedroom or country house interior.

Condition:Good antique condition with general age-related wear, scratches, knocks and some rubbing and small losses to the painted finish, particularly around the edges and legs. The green dralon upholstery is clean and serviceable, with some minor signs of age and use. Decorative braid and buttoning remain in place. General wear to the castors consistent with age.
Delivery: 100 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £100 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
