Pair Antique Single Mahogany French Beds

Pair mahogany French beds. Pair antique single French sleigh beds, figured mahogany veneer headboard and footboard with raised curved side rails.

Dimensions: Overall 97cm wide x 197cm long x 109cm high,  Internal 89cm x 181.5cm long, 43cm high to lowest point on side.

Condition: Solid condition, age and wear to the veneer, some losses and chips to the veneer, two small holes through the veneer on the side rails - please refer to the photos, later wooden supports fitted to the inside of the side rails for the slats to fit on, later bolts and adjustments to the rails where the bolts screw the side rails to the ends. Please note these beds differ slightly in size to English bed sizes so please check the measurements. Also please note that these beds are often quite difficult to put together and will require someone competent with a screwdriver to put them together, there have been some adjusments over the years with the bolts on the side rails and will require some new slats as they are not included.
