Mid 20th Century West German Pottery Vase.Mid 20th Century West German studio pottery planter, with an all-over mottled crackle glaze in soft blue and sage tones, banded with a raised, scalloped relief decoration highlighted with vivid orange/red beading. Deep cobalt blue glaze to the interior. Impressed mark "11/2, Made in W. Germany" to the base. A striking piece of mid-century West German ceramics with strong colour and tactile surface texture.

Condition:Good vintage condition with vivid glaze colour and texture throughout, showing only minor surface marking consistent with age, and no chips or cracks noted
