Maple & Co Mahogany Pedestal Dressing Table. Late 19th to early 20th century mahogany dressing table by Maple & Co., with a broad rectangular top, shaped kneehole and twin pedestal arrangement providing eight useful drawers. The drawer fronts are fitted with turned wooden knobs and retain their keyholes, while the simple arched apron and low back rail keep the overall design restrained and practical. The top has been adapted following removal of the original mirror, with the former fixing points now filled. Stamped Maple & Co. to one of the drawers, the piece has the solid construction and useful proportions associated with the firm and would work equally well today as a dressing table or writing desk.
Dimensions: 137cm wide x 63cm deep x 75cm high x 80cm high at the back the kneehole measures 48.5cm wide x 70cm high
Condition:Solidantique condition with general wear, marks, scratches and knocks consistent with age and use. There is damage to a couple of the drawer handles, and one drawer lock has been removed. The top has filled holes where the original mirror was previously fitted, together with further surface wear and variation to the finish. The remaining drawers run and the piece is structurally sound. Please refer closely to the photographs for condition.
Delivery: 100 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £100 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
