Large Victorian Oak Pedestal Desk.A substantial late 19th century oak pedestal desk. The desk is arranged with three drawers across the top above two pedestals each fitted with three further graduated drawers providing excellent storage.Additional drawers are fitted to each side of the desk making this an unusually practical piece with storage accessible from several positions. The drawer fronts are framed and fitted with attractive brass ring handles and keyholes while the sides of each pedestal are finished with decorative fielded panels. The large panelled top has developed a beautifully worn surface with considerable character from many years of use. A handsome and practical Victorian desk with particularly good proportions and plenty of presence.

Condition:Good antique condition with considerable age related wear throughout including scratches marks knocks fading and variation to the finish. Repair to the frieze on one of the ends. Further knocks and losses around the edges and plinth bases. Handles appear to include some variation and possible replacements. No keys present. Please refer to photographs.
Delivery: 100 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £100 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
