Large Glazed Bookcase. Early 20th Century and later large glazed bookcase, moulded cornice over stained pine body with two pairs of glazed doors on plinth base. The main body is stained pine with slatted pine back, the shelves have been adjusted and glazed doors added later with mahogany veneer plinth and moulded cornice.
Dimensions: 238.5cm x 35cm deep x 178cm high. Internal shelf 24.5cm. The main body is one section and does not break down for transportation.
Condition: Overall good solid condition, the bookcase has had numerous adjustments with possibly unassociated cornice and plinth base, later doors and the depth of the shelves reduced slightly to accommodate the doors, some small holes in the side where later internal shelf peg holes have been drilled out and gone slightly through to the outside edge - doesn't affect the use in anyway. Please also note that the doors will be removed for transportation and will need to be screwed back on.
Delivery £100 flat rate quoted covers England and Wales only. Delivery offered is an economy service to ground floor with a single driver, who will need assistance unloading at your end. Express and two man delivery service is available, please make enquiries for prices. Delivery to Scotland and Islands also available, please contact us for prices.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £100 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
