Japanese Shodana Cabinet

Japanese hardwood shodana cabinet. The blind-fretted pediment centred on a platform with a gilt-brass dragon-filled aperture within up-scrolled ends above an informal arrangement of shelves and cupboards, the latter carved with flowering prunus, palms and chrysanthemum, over a foliate-incised apron on scrolled feet.

Dimensions: 98c wide x 41cm deep x 168cm high

Condition: Good, general age and wear, evidence of a little woodworm - this has been treated as a precaution.
