Japanese Shodana Cabinet. Carved all over with stylised flowers and foliage, the dragon-carved and pierced pediment above a symmetrical arrangement of shelves and cupboards with fretted brackets, the door panels with carved birds, lilies and peonies on a gilt lacquer field, on a dragon-carved plinth with imbricated scrolling legs.
Dimensions: 140cm wide x 45cm deep x 233cm high
Condition: Good, some minor damage and losses to the applied decoration.
