Georgian mahogany tambour desk. Antique George III tambour roll top desk. The fitted and satinwood veneered writing section including pigeonholes and small drawers together with a slide with adjustable writing inset and pen rest and void inkwell compartments, below are two short drawers, the kneehole recess flanked by a pair of pedestals each with three drawers and a plinth base.

Dimensions: 93cm wide x 60cm deep x 102.5cm high.

Condition: Age and wear, some historic repairs, some damage and losses to the veneer & cock bead, variation in colour to the French polish on the sides, some replacement ring handles, small handle missing from one of the internal dummy drawers.
