Georgian Mahogany Circular Tilt Top Occasional Table.Georgian mahogany occasional table featuring a circular tilt top with a finely moulded edge, raised on a slender turned pedestal with a baluster-shaped column and ring turned detailing. The tripod base has three gracefully swept legs terminating in simple pad feet, with the mahogany displaying a warm, mellow colour and attractive aged patina. The original tilt-top mechanism allows the table to be raised into a vertical position when not in use, revealing traditional wooden support battens and a metal catch to the underside. Suited for use as a lamp table, occasional tea table or beside an armchair.
Dimensions: 58cm diameter x 70cm high
Condition:Good antique condition with general age-related wear, scratches, knocks and marks throughout. The dished top has a split with evidence of previous repair, together with surface wear, minor staining and variations in colour. There is a repair to one of the tripod legs, with a small wooden block added to one foot. Further rubbing and wear to the pedestal and legs, together with evidence of historic woodworm to the underside and support blocks.
Delivery: 75 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
