Georgian Mahogany Bureau. Early 19th Century writing bureau of small proportions, strung with boxwood, the fall flap enclosing a fitted interior above a door inlaid as two drawers above two real drawers and a patera-inlaid serpentine apron on splayed bracket feet.

Dimensions: 64cm wide x 43cm deep x 70cm high slope x 92cm high at the back.

Condition: Obvious wear to the polish on the top of the bureau, the false drawers are slightly bowed with age, some general age and losses to the veneer & inlay, chip to the top right corner of the fall front, split through the veneer on the front of the cupboard door, damage to the left corner of the leather skiver.
