French Marble Bombe Chest of Drawers. 20th Century French kingwood parquetry and gilt brass mounted serpentine fronted bombe commode in the Louis XV taste, with a rouge and white variegated marble top with a moulded edge, containing two long drawers with acanthus scroll handle pulls and escutcheons, having a shaped apron on splayed legs, headed with cabochon foliate ornament, terminating in sabots.
Dimensions: 122cm wide x 54cm deep x 85cm high.
Condition: Solid condition, minor age and wear to the marble, some losses and repairs to the veneer.
Delivery: *£75 Delivery quoted covers England & Wales only. This item will be sent with a pallet delivery firm or a man and van courier. The delivery is kerbside or door to door service. We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
