Folk Art Decorated Wooden Trinket Boxes. Pair of early 20th century wooden trinket boxes, each with a removable domed lid and individually worked decoration. One is incised with a repeating fruit and leaf design, the outlines picked out against a finely worked background, while the other has a more geometric treatment with warm ochre, brown, cream and green colouring set within heavily textured bands. Small, tactile pieces of folk art that would work well for jewellery, keepsakes or simply as decorative objects on a dressing table or shelf. Sold as a pair.
Dimensions: 8.5cm diameter x 4.5cm / 8cm x 4cm
Condition:Good antique condition with marks, knocks, rubbing, fading and surface wear consistent with age and use. There are small losses and areas of wear to the coloured and incised decoration, together with variation to the finish and minor irregularities to the turned wooden bodies and lids. The interiors show expected age related marking.

Delivery
Free delivery is available on small items and selected smaller pieces of furniture. This covers UK mainland addresses only and excludes the Highlands and Islands. Delivery is typically made via an economy courier service. If you require a faster or upgraded delivery option, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Returns
