Ebonised Occasional Games Table with Norfolk Regiment Decoration.An unusual ebonised occasional or games table of small proportions, raised on a turned pedestal support with three shaped legs and a slender circular to oval top. The top has been later decorated with military badges and insignia associated with The Norfolk Regiment, including references to the 9th East Norfolk Regiment, together with playing card motifs, giving the piece a distinctive decorative and conversation-starting character. The black painted finish contrasts well with the gilt and coloured decoration to the top, while the simple pedestal base and tripod form give it a pleasing, slightly folk-art appearance. A decorative and unusual piece, well suited as a lamp table, wine table or occasional table.

Condition:Overall good decorative condition with general age-related wear, scratches, scuffs and marks throughout. The ebonised finish shows rubbing, small losses and chips in places. Damage and losses to the bottom of each leg. The top decoration appears to be later and shows wear, rubbing and surface marks consistent with age and use.
Delivery: 75 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
