Early antique oak cupboard, constructed from substantial oak with a rich, dark patina. The pair of panelled doors are fitted with decorative iron hinges and a substantial iron latch, opening to reveal a spacious interior with two shelves. Raised on simple stile feet it has a restrained vernacular design and beautifully aged surface. A handsome and atmospheric piece offering generous storage for a kitchen, living room or hallway.

Condition:An early piece that has seen considerable alteration and repair during its lifetime. The present hinges are later, with evidence of previous hinge positions, The back is constructed from lovely thick boards with evidence of historic woodworm. The feet have been extended, possibly following deterioration or loss to the original lower sections. There are old splits, repairs, redundant fixing points, knocks, marks and general wear throughout. The cupboard may incorporate elements from an earlier piece or have been substantially reconfigured during its long working life. Solid and usable, with a wonderful timeworn character.
Delivery: 100 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £100 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
