Early 20th Century Pitch Pine Day Bed. Early 20th century pitch pine adjustable bench by Spencer, Heath & George. The solid pitch pine frame is raised on turned legs and incorporates a ratchet fitting that allows either end to be adjusted, as shown. The bench is fully upholstered in a bold red and white patterned fabric. Simple and robust in construction, this is a practical and characterful piece, suitable for use as a daybed, or hall bench.

Dimensions: 156cm x 62cm x 42cm when flat

Condition: Solid condition, general age and wear, some marks and wear to the upholstery but it is servicable.
