Early 20th Century Oak Sideboard Cupboard. Quality Early 20th century oak cupboard, with an understated design and lovely warm colour. Of excellent quality construction, featuring two fielded panel doors with simple wooden handles, subtle carved detailing to the central uprights and an attractive shaped plinth base with dovetailed feet. Particularly pleasing are the beautifully panelled sides and back, along with the quality joinery throughout, demonstrating the care and craftsmanship that went into its construction. The two doors open to reveal generous storage compartments, each fitted with a shelf, making this a wonderfully versatile piece for a dining room, hallway, sitting room or kitchen. With its restrained proportions, attractive oak grain and subtle Arts and Crafts influences, this handsome cupboard would sit comfortably within both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Dimensions: 122cm wide x 35cm deep x 87cm high
Condition:Good antique condition with general age-related wear, surface scratches, marks and some variations in colour and finish. There are some cup and ring marks to the top. The internal shelves and cupboard bases are later replacements, with visible fixings and some associated wear to the interior. The original oak exterior has a lovely mellow patina consistent with age and use.
Delivery: 100 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £100 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
