Early 20th Century Bentwood Stoo.Early 20th century bentwood stool with a circular embossed seat featuring an exceptionally detailed foliate design. The top is centred with a stylised flowerhead and surrounded by an elaborate symmetrical arrangement of scrolling foliage and ornamental motifs, set against a densely textured ground and contained within the raised outer rim. The stool stands on four gently splayed bentwood legs joined by a circular stretcher, giving it the light, elegant proportions associated with continental bentwood furniture of the period.
Dimensions: 35cm diameter x 47cm high
Condition:Good antique condition with marks, knocks, scratches, rubbing and general surface wear consistent with age and use. There is some wear and fading to the embossed decoration together with minor age related marks and irregularities to the timber.

Delivery
Free delivery is available on small items and selected smaller pieces of furniture. This covers UK mainland addresses only and excludes the Highlands and Islands. Returns
