Early 19th Century Mahogany Sideboard.William IV mahogany sideboard, featuring beautifully figured mahogany drawer and cupboard fronts with rich swirling grain and a lovely mellow patina. The elegant rectangular top sits above a central frieze drawer with decorative brass ring handles, flanked by two deep cupboards, each fitted with a matching brass handle. The central section features an attractive arched opening, while the shaped aprons are finished with small scroll details. Raised on four beautifully turned legs, with the front pair featuring distinctive spiral carving. A lovely addition to a dining room, hallway or country house interior, equally suited to traditional and contemporary settings.
Dimensions: 154cm wide x 48cm deep x 90cm high
Condition:Good antique condition with general age-related wear, scratches, knocks, marks and variations in colour and finish throughout. Some historic repairs and alterations, including rectangular sections of replacement timber to the two rear corners of the top, possibly where an original brass gallery rail has been removed. Some surface scratches, marks and wear to the top, with further wear to the cupboard interiors and green-lined central drawer. Minor losses and imperfections to the veneers and edges, consistent with age and use. Please refer to photographs for details.
Delivery: 100 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £100 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
