Early 19th Century Empire Lit En Bateau. Antique Early 19th Century French bed, mahogany veneer with gilt brass mounts, finished on one side and designed for the left side of the bed to sit against the wall.

Dimensions: 136cm wide x 196cm long x 43cm high at the side x 110cm high // internal space for mattress 118.5cm wide xx 183cm long

Condition: Solid condition, some later brackets added to fix the ends to the rear side rail, later slats, some historic splits and repairs to the wood in the footboard - please refer to the photos
