Decortive late 19th century Chinese hardwood plant stand, finished in a rich dark lacquer. The square top with stylised arrangement of vessels, floral sprays, and symbolic objects , decorative frieze featuring delicate gilt bamboo and foliate decoration . The stand is raised on four square-section legs, joined by a lower tier for additional display.
