Chesterman Constantia 33ft Surveyor's Tape Measure.An early-mid 20th century leather cased surveyor's tape measure by Chesterman, Sheffield, marked "Constantia." The brass winder is stamped 33 FT, Conway Corporation, Surveyor's Dept, Stitched leather case with brass fittings.
Dimensions: 33ft
Condition:Leather case with wear and patina consistent with age and genuine use. Tape shows some fraying to the fabric near the end fitting (see photos), but remains fully functional winds and retracts smoothly. Brass fittings with natural tarnish.
