Carn Pottery Cornwall Vase Textured Green Glaze.A studio pottery vase by Carn Pottery of Nancledra, near Penzance, Cornwall, founded by potter John Beusmans in 1971. The tapered form is decorated with a striking textured bubble/pebble panel to one side against a banded green and cream ground, showing the sculptural, multi-sided approach the pottery is known for, with most pieces designed to be viewed from several different angles, much like sculpture. The glaze colours come from copper for the green tones, evoking the changing colours of the Cornish sea and landscape that influenced the pottery's designs.
Dimensions: 8.5cm x 13cm
Condition: Good condition with no visible chips or cracks. Minor marks to the base consistent with normal handling and age.
