B.H. Edmonds Watercolour Roses in Gilt Frame, 1914. Early 20th Centurywatercolour still life of roses and rosebuds spilling from a shallow dish, signed and dated B.H. Edmonds, 3/6/1914 lower right.The petals and leaves are worked with soft, blended brushstrokes rather than sharp outlines, giving the piece a gentle, loose finish typical of decorative florals from the period. Presented under glass in its original gilt frame with beaded slip detail. Ready to hang.
