Arts and Crafts Oval Copper Framed Mirror.Early 20th Century oval wall mirror in the Arts and Crafts style, featuring a broad copper frame decorated with four applied metal mounts, each incorporating a raised oval boss with stylised detailing. The frame has developed a wonderful aged patina, with areas of copper and brass tones showing through the worn surface, giving the piece a distinctive character. The bevelled mirror plate sits neatly within the frame, its simple oval form contrasting with the decorative metalwork. An appealing piece for a hallway, bedroom or bathroom.
Dimensions: 80cm x 47.5cm
Condition:Good vintage condition with considerable age-related wear, tarnishing, oxidation and areas of surface loss to the copper frame, creating a heavily patinated appearance. The bevelled mirror plate has some minor scratches, spotting and marks consistent with age and use.
