Arts and Crafts Hammered Metal Framed Bevelled Wall Mirror.An attractive early 20th century Arts and Crafts wall mirror, the frame worked in hammered/embossed metal with a rich, textured all over pattern, bordered by a fine cross hatched edge and fitted with riveted strap work corner brackets typical of hand beaten Arts and Crafts metalwork. The mirror plate is bevelled, with attractive age-related foxing to the glass adding to its character.
Dimensions: 59cm x 41cm x 2.5cm
Condition:Good decorative condition, with wear consistent with age throughout the metalwork, giving it character rather than detracting from it. The mirror plate has attractive foxing/age spotting typical of older glass, most noticeable on close inspection.
