Arts and Crafts Carved Oak Side Table with Lift Up Top. Carved antique oak side table in the Arts and Crafts style, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Featuring an attractive rectangular top richly decorated with repeating geometric floral and foliate motifs surrounding a central plain panel, with matching carved decoration to the frieze and lower shelf. The four square legs feature additional carved detailing, while the hinged top lifts to reveal a useful concealed storage compartment beneath. The oak has developed a lovely rich, dark patina, with warmer tones highlighting the intricate carving and adding to its character. A particularly decorative and practical piece, ideal as a lamp table, occasional table or bedside table, bringing warmth and character to a traditional or eclectic interior.
Dimensions: 64cm wide x 45cm x 72cm high. 12cm internal depth.
Condition:Good antique condition with general age related wear, surface scratches, marks, knocks and areas of rubbing to the finish. There is an area of damage and loss to the front edge of the tabletop, as shown in the photographs. Some further minor wear and irregularities to the carved decoration, consistent with age and use.
Delivery: 75 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
