Art Deco Burleigh Ware Parrot Handle Jug.1930s Art Deco Burleigh Ware pottery jug by Burgess & Leigh, featuring a striking yellow glazed body and an unusual handle modelled as a colourful parrot perched amongst tropical foliage. The jug has a flared pouring spout, rounded lower body and hand painted decoration depicting palm leaves and flowers in green, blue and orange, with black detailing around the rim. 

Dimensions: 13cm diameter x 20cm high

Condition:Vintage condition with some light surface marks and wear to the painted decoration and glaze. There is a visible hairline crack to the underside of the base, along with some age-related crazing. Please refer to photographs for details.
