Antique Victorian Pine Dresser. Antique Victorian pine dresser with a beautifully mellow, naturally aged finish and plenty of rustic country house character. The upper section features a moulded cornice, traditional boarded back and three open shelves, ideal for displaying ceramics, glassware and decorative pieces. Below, the generously proportioned chest incorporates three smaller drawers above two full-width drawers, all fitted with decorative brass handles and keyhole escutcheons. The simple, practical design is complemented by attractive pine grain, natural knots and a warm honey-coloured patina developed through years of use. Standing on a traditional plinth base, this substantial dresser would make a lovely addition to a country kitchen, dining room or relaxed farmhouse interior.

Condition:Good antique condition with plenty of characterful wear consistent with age and use. The pine has a naturally aged, stripped appearance, with surface marks, scratches, small knocks, variations in colour and historic marks throughout, particularly to the drawer fronts, shelves and plinth. There are some minor gaps between the boards to the back and general wear to the edges and mouldings. The brass handles have an aged patina. Please refer to the photographs for further details.
