Antique Painted Tin Trunk.Early 20th Centurytin trunk with its original polychrome paintwork deep green panels with gold banding below a brown-painted lid, brass corner mounts, and a working clasp. The lid opens to reveal a striking original blue-painted interior with embossed panelling. A carrying handle to each end. A real statement piece with wonderful colour and patina throughout.
Dimensions: 76cm wide x 51cm deep x 47cm high
Condition:Good, characterful original condition. Surface wear, scuffs, and paint loss throughout consistent with age sold as found. Some rust bloom to the interior. Clasp and hinges functional. Sound and stable, no structural damage.
