Antique Majolica Cabbage Leaf Bowl.Antique majolica bowl modelled with overlapping cabbage leaves, moulded with pronounced veining and decorated in soft pink and green glazes. Raised on a moulded foot with an irregular naturalistic rim finished with gilt detailing, the bowl has a creamy glazed interior. A charming piece of late 19th or early 20th century decorative pottery with wonderfully characterful colouring and texture.
Dimensions: 24cm diameter x 11cm high
Condition:In good antique condition with age related wear and rubbing to the gilt decoration. There is a chip to the foot and a short hairline to the interior of the bowl, as shown in the photographs.
