Antique Mahogany Tilt Top Occasional Table. Mahogany tilt top occasional table dating from the second half of the 19th century. The rectangular top has softly rounded corners and a beautifully aged mahogany surface with a rich, warm patina, supported on an elegantly turned central pedestal and three swept legs terminating in rounded bun feet. The traditional tilt top mechanism allows the top to be raised vertically when not in use, making this a particularly practical and versatile piece. With its simple proportions and understated decorative detailing, it would work equally well as a lamp table, occasional table or small side table in a traditional or contemporary interior.

Condition:Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Various surface scratches, marks, minor knocks and areas of wear to the finish, particularly around the edges of the top and pedestal base. Various historic repairs to the turned stand and legs. The underside retains its tilt top mechanism and supporting rails.
Delivery: 75 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
