Antique Keeling & Co Oxford Red Transferware Sauce Tureen Ladle & Oval Plate. Group of antique red and white transferware by Keeling & Co in the Oxford pattern, comprising a small covered sauce tureen with ceramic ladle and underplate, together with a further oval serving plate.The tureen has a softly shaped body with integral handles and a domed lid, decorated throughout with sprays of flowers and scrolling borders in red against a warm cream ground. The original ceramic ladle is particularly nice to have retained with it and carries a simple coordinating red border. Both oval plates repeat the same floral and scrolling Oxford pattern.

Condition:Antique condition with age-related crazing, discolouration and staining, particularly to the tureen and underplate. Few small chips to the underside of the oval plate. There is general rubbing and wear to the transfer decoration and glaze consistent with age and use. Please refer closely to the photographs.
