Antique French Burr Walnut & Marble Vitrine

Antique French burr walnut & marble vitrine. Large & impressive French Sideboard, circa 1900, solid breche violette marble top with central mirror back and pair of glazed display cabinets with bevelled edge glass door and side panels with 2 small glass shelves and mirror back, the lower part with a pair of frieze drawers above two cupboard doors, with decorative gilt metal mounts.

Dimensions: The base measures 163cm wide x 52cm deep x 103cm high x 198cm high.

Condition: Good condition, general age and signs of use, some foxing and spots to the glass - particularly in the back of the display cabinet, chip to the back edge of one of the glass shelves, some evidence of old woodworm in the oak panel on the back of the cabinet - this has been treated as a precaution.
