Antique Carved Wooden Architectural Fragment.An antique carved wooden architectural fragment, likely Indian in origin, probably originally a decorative bracket or plinth from a temple, now repurposed as a rustic candle stand. Each face is carved with a different traditional motif a star flower within a diamond lattice, a rosette medallion, and chevron and rope-twist borders over a weathered, dark patinated surface. The base retains a metal candle pin to the top. A genuinely tactile, one-off decorative piece with real age and character.
Dimensions: 15.5cm x 16cm x 13cm
Condition:Good antique weathered condition consistent with age and prior architectural use, with wear, surface losses, and general knocks and marks to the timber throughout; stable and fit for use as a decorative candle stand.
