Antique Brass Chambersticks Candle Holders.19th century brass chambersticks, each with a broad circular drip tray, central candle socket and loop handle for carrying. Although not an exact matching pair, they sit particularly well together, with one having a slightly deeper scalloped edge and the other a more finely shaped rim and taller turned candle socket.Originally designed to be carried from room to room by candlelight, they now make lovely decorative pieces for a bedside table, mantel or dining table and work particularly well with short dinner candles.

Condition:Antique condition with marks, knocks, scratches, tarnishing, oxidation and general surface wear consistent with age and use. There is old candle wax residue to both pieces and considerable variation to the patina, including darker areas and rubbing to the brass. The two chambersticks are similar rather than an exact matched pair. Please refer closely to the photographs for the overall condition and finish.
