Antique Art Nouveau Brass Wall Mirror.Antique Art Nouveau wall mirror with an original bevelled glass plate held within a slender brass frame. The frame is wonderfully decorative, formed with sinuous flowing tendrils and a stylised leaf shaped crest typical of the Art Nouveau period. The original mirror plate has developed extensive atmospheric foxing and silvering loss, giving it a wonderfully timeworn appearance. Complete with an integral loop to the top for hanging on the wall.
Dimensions: 23cm x 34cm high
Condition:In good antique condition with age related wear and patina to the brass. The original mirror plate has extensive foxing and areas of silvering loss, particularly along the lower edge. The original rear backing and easel support are no longer present, therefore the mirror is suitable for wall hanging only. Please see photographs.
