19th Century Maritime Engraving in Mahogany Frame.19th century hand coloured maritime engraving depicting ships at sea, with a central vessel partially obscured by smoke and smaller craft crossing the foreground. The scene is finely detailed, particularly in the rigging and hulls of the ships, with hand-applied colour giving the image a soft, atmospheric quality.The print is housed in a simple mahogany frame with a gilt slip, both of which suit the period character of the image well. The combination of the warm mahogany, muted colour and naval subject gives it a particularly appealing decorative quality.

Condition:There is age-related fading, discolouration and some spotting to the print, together with two small areas of damage to the mahogany frame and wear to the gilt slip. Please refer closely to the photographs for condition.
