18th Century Carved Oak Side Table.A charming 18th century oak side table, the planked top with good honest colour and patina raised on a carved frieze decorated with scrolling and rosette motifs, standing on square tapering legs. A versatile and characterful piece, well suited to a hallway, study, or as a lamp or console table where its carved detail can be appreciated.
Dimensions: 73cm wide x 118cm x 72cm high. 55cm from the floor to the frieze (underside edge) at the lowest point, and 59cm at the highest part of the frieze.
Condition: Good honest antique condition with wear consistent with genuine age and long use. Small blocks have been added to the base of the legs at some point, likely to make up historic loss/wear to the original foot height a common and sympathetic old repair on oak furniture of this age. There is evidence of historic woodworm, which has been treated as a precaution and appears to be inactive. The top shows scattered historic marks and staining. Overall solid and useable.
Delivery: 75 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
