Mahogany is beautiful, durable and diverse. It's application is too extensive to list but has been a favourite of cabinet makers for hundreds of years. It can be deep, dark red or sunbleached and golden in colour and whatever you're colour scheme it's likely there'll be a mahogany chest of drawers the right colour for your interior space. Over the years we've seen all sorts of styles and configurations including those with hat boxes, cushion drawers, marquetry patterns and initialling and chests on chests; bun feet, bracket and ogee feet!

In truth, it's no longer cost effective or competitive to build modern furniture with such quality materials and craftsmanship - nearly all of our chests for sale are hand crafted with dovetailed joints. Buying antique chests of drawers is not only good for the environment by saving trees and lowering our carbon footprint but a cost effective solution compared to buying new without compromising on quality.
