Pair Antique 19th Century Carved Oak Cabinet Bookcase.An impressive pair of carved oak cabinet bookcases, 19th century, richly and deeply carved throughout in a Continental Renaissance revival style. Each has an open bookcase top with a shaped arch and adjustable shelves, flanked by carved cherub masks framed in acanthus foliage to the upper corners, with a further carved cherub mask and scrolling foliate frieze to the cabinet below. The cupboard door is carved and pierced with dense scrolling acanthus and a central flowerhead, opening to reveal an internal shelf. Raised on a plinth base. The carving throughout is of exceptional quality and depth, with rich colour and patina to the oak. Please note the width and depth of the cabinets are slightly different.

Condition: Genuine age related wear and rich colour throughout, consistent with the period. A few small losses to the carving and a small section of bead,. Doors and hinges function correctly. Structurally sound and stable on both cabinets. As noted, the two cabinets are not identical in size
Delivery: 100 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £100 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
