A decorative pair of 20th century ceramic Dalmatian dog figures in the traditional Staffordshire style, modelled recumbent and set upon deep cobalt blue bases with gilt highlights. Each dog is finished in a glossy white glaze and hand decorated with black spots, detailed facial features, and a fine gilt collar, capturing the whimsical character associated with traditional Staffordshire flatback figures.
Decorative and collectable, this charming pair would suit display on a mantel, shelf, cabinet, or within a ceramic collection.
Dimensions: 6 cm × 13 cm × 8 cm.
Condition: Good. Hairline crack to the back of one dog.
