Antique Georgian Oak Writing Bureau. Antique 18th Century writing bureau, solid oak with fall front inlaid border and central starburst, fitted interior with later baize writing surface and stained finish, arrangement of five drawers with shaped apron and bracket feet.
Dimensions: 104cm wide at the feetx 56cm deep x 51cm deep x 110cm high. Body 97cm wide. Slope 41cm deep x 76cm high
Condition: Good solid condition, later finish and baize to the interior, later alterations to the drawers and handles, the locks have been removed, general age and wear.
Delivery: £75 flat rate quoted covers England and Wales only. Delivery offered is an economy service to ground floor room of choice with a two man team. If you would like the item delivered up flights of stairs, have poor access, require delivery to Scotland or require Express service please contact us in advance.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
